Samsung recently released its cheapest budget 5G phone Galaxy M14 5G in Nepal. M series smartphone has done quite a good in the Nepali market. M14 being the most affordable 5G phone, is expected to have good value for the price.

DESIGN
The M14 5G has a curved back panel which is made up of plastic and the camera modules are like the Galaxy A14 5G and of course like S23 series phones as well. Since it houses a massive 6000mAh battery the phone is quite heavy and bulky too. There is a single speaker in button, USB Type C port, a mic, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack too. The SIM card tray is on the side while the power button also works as the side-mounted fingerprint sensor is at the side too. The volumes buttons are located on the right side.
DISPLAY
The Galaxy M14 houses 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD resolution. The display supports 90HZ refresh rate while the display is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. We get a water-drop type notch and talking about the bezels, they are quite significant.
PROCESSOR/MEMORY/SOFTWARE
Samsung Galaxy m14 is powered by Samsung own’s Exynos 1330 chipset which is based on 5nm technology. This chipset has a CPU consisting of 4x Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Likewise, it uses Arm’s Mali-G68 MP5 GPU.
Regarding connectivity, the device includes a built-in 5G modem. Additionally, the chipset provides dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2.
Galaxy M14 in Nepal has a memory of 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage which can be expandable to 1TB with a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy M144 runs on Android 13 and One UI 5.1 on top of it. 2 generations of OS updates and 4 years of security updates are promised by Samsung.

Galaxy M14 5G features triple rear cameras consisting of 50MP f/1.8 Main Camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera. It has a 13MP front camera that can record up to 1080p@30fps of video.

The phone is powered with a massive 6000mAh battery for 2 days of performance from a single charge. The device supports 25 Watt fast charging capability, but the 25 Watt charger is not provided in the box.
